Alex's little time is going so fast I just want to capture every moment on camera to never forget it. Like this: He almost never falls asleep so hard you can lay him down anywhere and not have him wake up.
I already miss his short-lived silly habits, like waking up in the middle of the night to nurse and catching a glimpse of the blinking red light on our CPU only to keep looking away for a few seconds, then checking back to make sure it is still there, being totally enthralled with the bright black, yellow, and white warning label in his car seat, and hearing his little finger nails scratching the sheets in his porta-crib when he wakes up in a good mood. Oh the things we take for granted that we all had to discover at one point.
