4 Months!

Wow...4 months already!?! It is really hard to believe that our little guy is growing so fast! This past month has been a little bit of a crazy one, but now we are hopefully moving on, never looking back, to better and happier days. Alex is beginning to return to his beginning sleep pattern, which I loved, and am so grateful for. He is happier now during the day too. Sam and I both feel it is because he is getting his whole dose of Prevacid in the morning, when he needs it, and not part of it at night to affect his sleep. Alex is a talking machine. He still loves to mimic things you do and say. It is so cute! He loves when we play peek-a-boo with him. He really cracks-up! He is finding his feet and so close to putting them in his mouth. Everything he grabs goes right to the mouth! We now have pretty much graduated from the bouncy seat because he tries to sit up in it. Yesterday he almost tipped out of it because he is so strong and lunged himself forward to sit up. Had I not been right next to him, he would have flipped forward, probably bringing the seat with him, and conked his head on the floor. A little scary thought! Another thing Alex loves is for you to read to him. He is a great listener. He also really enjoys his squeaky books. The kids have taught him how to squeak them on his own by banging his fists on the squeaker. It is pretty funny to watch. We are really enjoying this special boy! He is truly a blessing to us!
