Alex has grown incredibly this past year. Such an amazing year...full of so many experiences and changes! We wouldn't trade them for anything!
At birth,
Alexander weighed 9lbs 9oz.
He was 19 3/4" long.
He had quite a bit of straight dark hair.
He was not doing much more than sleeping, nursing, & crying.
At 1-year,
Alexander weighs 23lbs 4oz.
He is 31 1/4" long.
Alexander is full of energy now. He is always watching what everyone is doing. He is so very smart and it does not take long for him to figure out how to do something. Alex is quite the talker. He can mimic several words his siblings say. He has really become very good with his Baby Signs also. (His favorite is bird.) He loves to dance! Any beat or music he hears starts him "grooving!"
To celebrate Alex's special day, we started it off with a pumpkin pancake breakfast.
Alex was in Heaven!
We followed his special breakfast with opening his presents.
That night, we brought Alex to Cici's for a pizza crust dinner.
After dinner came Alex's special jungle birthday cake.
Mommy made the cake and Brianna made the brownie cupcakes.
Alex was amazed!
He was so excited to dig in!
He finally gave up on licking...
...and decided to go face first!
What a great day it was!!!
