So we got this hairball idea to try and squeeze in a family vacation before the end of summer, even though our little guy still hates the car. I think we all needed a break from every day life. Well...we were very pleasantly surprised! Alex did FANTASTIC! The trip was great! Alex only fussed when he was hungry or tired and otherwise played and enjoyed his siblings the way to and home from California. Sleeping was an entirely different story. Now mom needs a vacation from the lack of sleep on the vacation. :)
